Please join us for The Museum of Modern Art’s bimonthly program for individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Each program includes a sign language–interpreted private gallery talk focusing on one of MoMA’s special exhibitions, along with a wine and cheese reception.
In May, we will explore the exhibition Georgia O’Keeffe: To See Takes Time, featuring multiple series of works in which the artist revisited and reworked the same subjects, repeating and transforming motifs that lie between observation and abstraction. Together with curator Samantha Friedman, we will discuss how drawing in this way enabled O’Keeffe to capture not only nature’s forms but its rhythms.
